Mr. Chng Yong Huat brings over 40 years of expertise in interior design, renovation, and construction. Throughout his distinguished career, he has personally overseen the renovation of thousands of homes, earning a reputation in the industry as a professional who is reliable, responsible, and committed to delivering only the highest standards of quality.
Over the span of four decades, Mr. Chng has built and expanded the Hong Lim Group of companies, including Hong Lim Building Contractor and Hong Lim Interior Design. His entrepreneurial vision also led to the founding of Hong Lee Building Material Pte Ltd, co-established with Mr. Neo Aik Cheng and Mr. Toh Hea Yam. The company specializes in the distribution of premium floor and wall tiles sourced from China, Italy, and Spain, reinforcing his commitment to quality materials for every project.
Guided by his philosophy that all renovation and interior design projects must meet high standards at reasonable costs, Mr. Chng has consistently prioritized value for homeowners. He is known for offering practical advice, often recommending areas that need or need not be renovated, helping clients save costs while achieving their desired outcomes.

CHNG HAN CHUAN
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mr Dave Chng Han Chuan is the Managing Director of Hong Lim Interior Design, a family business founded by Mr Chng Yong Huat. He oversees the company's renovation and interior design operations, drawing on extensive experience in project management, business development, and brand management.
Before joining the family business, Dave served as CEO of SLION Group, where he managed cafe franchises in China, and V Max Group, V Max (Shenzhen) Enterprise Ltd., an agricultural chemical import and export company. He led the expansion of the Nanyang Coffee & Tea brand into China and introduced the Slion Coffee cafe concept, offering new coffee experiences to Chinese consumers. He remains an Honorary Director of SLION Group (China), advising its management team on the strategic direction and development of its food and beverage businesses.
Dave graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at the National University of Singapore and studied Business Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London. He also holds a postgraduate master's degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, as well as a certificate in interior design from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
Throughout his career, Dave has worked across the defence, manufacturing, fashion, food and beverage, renovation, and interior design sectors. He has helped numerous homeowners and property owners transform newly acquired spaces into their ideal homes and commercial properties. He also has extensive experience collaborating with external interior designers, architects, developers, and builders to deliver a wide range of renovation projects.
NICOLE LEE
FINANCE MANAGER, HONG LIM GROUP PTE LTD
Nicole Lee is the Finance Manager of Hong Lim Group, where she leads the Group’s accounting operations and serves as a key advisor on financial strategy. With a strong foundation in auditing and accounting consultancy, she brings a wealth of expertise in financial governance, compliance, and advisory services.
A graduate of the National University of Singapore, Nicole has built her career on precision, integrity, and innovation in financial management. Prior to joining Hong Lim Group, she gained extensive experience working with auditorial and consultancy firms, where she advised diverse clients on complex financial matters and developed a reputation for her analytical rigor and strategic insight.
Since joining the Group in 2021, Nicole has been instrumental in transforming the finance function through digitalisation and systemisation. Under her leadership, the Group has implemented advanced financial systems that streamline reporting, enhance transparency, and strengthen compliance. Her initiatives have not only improved operational efficiency but also positioned the Group to respond effectively to evolving market challenges.
Nicole’s role extends beyond day-to-day financial management. She is a trusted advisor to the leadership team, contributing to long-term strategic planning, risk management, and capital allocation. CORPORATE LEGAL ADVISOR, HONG LIM GROUP PTE LTD
Ms. Florence Tan is the Legal Advisor of Hong Lim Group, specializing in contract terms and providing comprehensive legal counsel across the Group’s operations. With her extensive background in corporate law, she plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the Group’s interests and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Florence has worked with numerous multinational corporations and SMEs, where she advised on complex contractual negotiations, corporate governance, and risk management. Her broad exposure to diverse industries has equipped her with the ability to navigate intricate legal landscapes and deliver pragmatic solutions tailored to business needs.
